Public Art
Experienceable in public spaces
Whether it's illuminated lettering, wayfinding systems, or window signage – when design becomes part of the built environment, it's often about more than just function: identity, atmosphere, and visibility all come together. In recent years, this has led to a wide variety of projects – some subtle, some highly visible.
Diversity in implementation
For Restaurant Frieda and Gasthaus Helmut, we developed not only logos but also facade and window lettering as well as illuminated advertising, all of which coherently convey their respective brand identities. With the illuminated lettering "Hohe Worte" (High Words) for public spaces – including for Westbesuch eV and the Delikatessenhaus art space – we created clear typographic statements.
On behalf of the city of Leipzig, integrated stone tablets for the partner cities were created on the town hall square, as well as the cultural guidance system „Westkultur“ with suitable signposts and logo for the western part of Leipzig.
This included window displays, invitation cards, and other visual elements for Neu Deli / Kunstraum Delikatessenhaus. Conceptual designs, such as a walk-in trade fair booth for Superbooth or modular text panels for Westkreuz, also demonstrate the breadth of our work – always closely linked to location, content, and context.
The result
Designs that interact with the architecture, provide orientation and set design accents in the urban space – conceived precisely, visibly and site-specifically.
